 Many of you have been asking what can you buy for only $3.00.....I have been thinking and searching on google for ideas and have a few to share:
 
#1 Gift Idea:  A special recipe that you enjoy with the "DRY" ingredients measured out in zip lock bags/containers for your boy/girl to make. (except the milk, eggs, and oil of course!!!)  OR
A cake box mix, icing, and something to decorate the cake to make for the family over the holidays.....or cookies/brownies etc....
#2 Gift Idea:  Begin a quarter collection for your boy/girl.....you could start him/her off with 12 different state quarters!
#3 Gift Idea:  Begin a Presidential $1.00 coin collection for your boy/girl......you could start him/her off with 3 presidential dollar coins for his/her collection!

#5 Gift Idea:  A $3.00 Dollar Tree gift card

Flexible Grouping

As student performance will vary it is important to permit movement between groups.  Student's readiness varies depending on personal talents and interests, so we must remain open to the concept that a student may be below grade level in one subject at the same time as being above grade level in another subject. 

Flexible grouping allows students to be appropriately challenged and avoids labeling a student's readiness as static. Students should not be be kept in a static group for any particular subjects as their learning will probably accelerate from time to time.

Students will be working in "flexible" groups this school year, so they may be moved in and out of a group depending on what is best for their learning needs at particular times throughout the school year.

8:00 - 930 - Yellow Group - Math  (Red - Science/Social Studies & Green - Reading)

9:30 - 11:00 - Block II - Red Group - Math (Yellow - Reading & Green - Science/Social Studies)

11:00 - 11:30 - Lunch

11:35 - 12:20 - Connect (Monday - P.E., Tuesday - Art, Wednesday - Music, Thursday - Technology, Friday - Spanish)

12:20 - 12:40 - Recess

12:45 - 2:15 - Block III - Green Group - Math (Red - Reading & Yellow - Science/Social Studies)

2:15 - 2:25 - Pack Up/Classroom Jobs
